Monday Edition: Daily Stand Up!
#daily-stand-up
Why?
That extra nudge of accountability to achieve even a small step on your IH journey each day.
To join in:
01 Share your epic (a big chunk of work with a meaty objective) you'd like to complete by the end of February.
02 Share what you accomplished yesterday.
03 Share what you commit to accomplishing today.
04 Comment on at least one fellow hacker's progress and give them an IH Point for their check in.
Optional:
05 Share your Work In Progress to underscore your accomplishments.
Then tune in the tomorrow to share how you did on your own tasks!

I'm actively shipping products to find traction, fit and affinity. So far it's been a win. Each of the 4 I've released to date have been top 2 PH of the day!

You IH daily users are incredible!! I've been a fly on the wall for months and you've been incredibly inspiring!
@Harlem Your a growth machine! 💯
Welcome to the fold! It must be a nice feeling to hit top 2 on PH. Hope you find lasting value in one of them! I've not launched anything on PH yet, are you warming up the crowd first somehow (ie a prelaunch campaign?)
Thanks @Davey!
I do a lot of writing to my email list of personal contacts, constantly updating them on what I'm doing. Email is your best friend.
Re: PH ... There is an art to PH. Time of day you publish, who the hunter is, how much traffic your posting gets and what the source of the traffic is.
I also use a digital street team on the day of launch to really ramp things. I can connect you if you'd like.
I've found if you try to hack it PH, you'll likely target the wrong activities and won't land as a winner.
The best things I've built, I hunted myself and it was horrible outcome. Consolidating your marketing is key. When I did that I ended up creating 4 products...
These were all in the last 50 days. I am also not alone, there is a team of us. @wendydean @tomerdi
When you are the product of the day on PH, it yields a tremendous amount of traffic for the coming week. Each of those launches received over 20k visitors. It allowed us to quickly understand fit, funnel and conversion mechanics.
I'd love to know more about what a digital street team is. I mean.. I can imagine it based on the name, but is it a group you hire?
Yes, it's a group of people that are popular on sites like PH who help with outreach. I've learned that not all votes are created equal. They do an amazing job!
Shoot me an email or pm and I can connect you to Wendy who can help you.

For widening the bottlenecks, can I suggest a 101 up top for Affiliate sales? It might be old news to you, but something many don't know about. There is a headline buried a little further down: "The benefits of a sales team without the overhead" which probably gets a little closer to the problem-solve language.
I'm a SaaS guy, I want revenue. I come to your site looking how to get revenue. I see a page showing me (I think) how to manage affiliates. I don't know too much about affiliates, so I feel dumb, and leave. It sounds like something I should know more about, but I have to go somewhere else to find it.
There is good content in the blog which outlines a case study, but again.. assume I don't even know what an affiliate is, and think about how your page might help to capture more people at the top of the funnel.
This is great feedback. Thanks

Wow been a few days since I was in here. Nice little break, and a valuable reset for my internal measure of productivity. Income centered life changes on the near horizon so I've had to shift a little.

Checked it! Beautiful design. But I can't tell from the ATF content what value you're providing... (Perhaps it'll be more obvious to your target market?)
Thanks for the insight! The wording is a tad more obvious to our target market, but I'm looking to make the wording on our site post-launch more accessible.

Hey @Davey are you mostly using email to close beta signups or is there another process behind the scenes? Great work.
I did a few direct reachouts for the SaaS, but got little traction there. Which is good, because those silver bullets I'd rather save once I have some other feedback. I got most of the SaaS beta signups and many app beta signups from a Medium article I wrote!
