PS Do you mind sharing which onboarding app slowed your page loads down? I'm using AppCues and get that feeling too.
We do this for our AI video editor startup, Nuro.video.
What I do is I write an "investor letter" every month (even though we are bootstrapped). First I write in English, then I translate it to French and add context for our French customers.
And then I email both versions to our respective lists.
I think it's worth telling the story of what we're building (e.g. When we tripled signups after adding AI, or this month, announcing that we are shutting down a $1M-per-year business to focus on our $100k ARR startup instead).
I see several benefits:
