Anyone migrated from Paddle to Stripe?

Hey guys,

I'm started to get customers on Paddle but the lack of flexibility is really killing me.

I'm considering moving to Stripe but I wonder if my existing customers will need to re-enter their credit card information on Stripe, or if I'm even allowed to move them over to Stripe.

Has anyone done the move ?

I think the purchase receipt is not optional because of some legal stuff as @azarai mentioned, since they are the effective seller.

Is it the only issue you have with paddle? I'm about to start integrating a payment provider and I'm torn between choosing Stripe or Paddle. I'd love to hear your good and bad thoughts about Paddle.

did you manage to move the transition? just curious, I was searching if that's possible.

I use Paddle and I stay with them because they have one major advantage over Stripe for me. Eu vat handling and i don't need to handle Vat moss at all.

And I do not mind their purchase receipts, removes stuff i had to do myself. Besides, they are selling your behalf so onassume they have to donit for legal reasons anyways.

Interesting; was thinking on going with Paddle. Do you mind elaborating on the problems you had?

I don't have a problem right now but the issue is that if you want to switch to Stripe, you might not be able to move your customers there without asking them to re-enter their credit card.

On Paddle, just annoyed that I can't disable some automated emails like purchase receipt, which I make available through my platform already.
