Anyone up for a landing page roast?

I'd love some feedback for www.tweetstreak.com on:

  • What you think of the value proposition (do you currently use any twitter growth tools?)
  • What objections you would have to using something like this

And obviously any other ideas you have of how we could improve

Thanks!

    Hello!

    To answer your questions:

    1. I like your value prop. Performance tracking works! I use performance tracking in the rest of my life to achieve my goals (e.g., health trackers) why not tweets?

    2. The objection I'd have to using this is:

I'm an iOS developer so I may be biased. The 14 day free trial is a red flag for me. There are SO MANY scam apps on the Apple App Store which promise easy cancellation but make it impossible to cancel. I only hand over a credit card number to 'well established' large software companies these days. If you are in growth mode maybe just make it free until your reputation or established client list allows people to trust you more?

    In addition:

    1. Can you make your landing page more succinct? Your target audience is Twitter the birthplace of 140 characters or less. I feel your target audience since it is a Twitter audience craves brevity. Can you state your value prop in 3 short tweets?

Thanks so much for the feedback!

Yeah I track so much of my life I thought it was the next logical extension!

Objection makes sense, and I know what you mean, we actually go to quite a lot of lengths to make sure you are aware of when the trial is coming up, when you'll be charged etc but it never hurts to overdo the comfort factor here! Think by showing who is behind it wherever we can it also makes it more human, i.e. if we scam you, you can easily come after us as most of our work is public!

Good point on the landing page and love the tweet idea! May be stealing that one from you...

    Content and structure:

    • Make it more clear in the hero that it is about Twitter
    • One of my first thoughts was: Is it a tool that automates replies? Is it conform to Twitters TOS?
    • I missed a section "This is how Tweetstreak works in 3 simple steps"
    • I also would add a main nav with anker links to the sections

    Design:

    • I like the logo, but the UI design is not really engaging. Their is a lot of potential improvment with colors and visual hierarchy.
    • The content from the screenshots is so tiny that it is tiring to read.

      Thanks for this Felix!

      Content + structure:

      • Have updated h1 to say 'Twitter audience' to drive it home
      • Have updated the features section to be more of a "how it works"
      • Fair point re: nav, I am not a big fan on landing pages and don't think it is too long a page so have left out

      Design:

      • Do you mean design of landing page or app? Can you give a couple of examples of how visual hierarchy is lacking at the min? Not sure I understand
      1. 2

        Content + structure:

        • on mobile the cta button should be above the fold
        • I don't understand the pricing "for the first 100 users". How is a user defined? Is it a follower? What will the next level cost?

        Design:

        • Visual hierarchy is mostly defined by the sizes of objects and it distances to each other but also on colors... I know this sounds abstract when you are not a designer. But here's a low hanging fruit: give all headlines #ffffff and paragraphs a line-height of 1.6
        • Overall the design could need some more details. If you need a helping hand DM me on twitter.

Thanks, have made some adjustments so mobile CTA is above fold, changed to "our first 100 users" and amended headlines and line spacing, thanks for the input Felix may take you up on the DM offer!

Hey Mike, the landing page looks good.

    • I think you can emphasize on the pain points and frustrations a lot more. Like why maintaining a streak is important?

    • Also is this streak of replies or original tweets only? That is not clear.

    • Will the tool help me engage with other accounts more, or tweet more or both?

    • The headline can be more powerful, and the subheadline can be shorter and punchy

    Hope this helps..

Very good points Ayush! Will definitely need to spend some time thinking about how to agitate painpoints more.

And for sure can add those responses into the copy

Have made some updates to the hero section and some small copy updates elsewhere, do you think it is punchier now?

            Looks good...

Some more headlines to think about -

            • Engage and grow your audience fast
            • Grow your Twitter audience with the power of engagement

            Subheadlines -

            • Tweetstreak helps you stay accountable towards your Twitter goals. So that you can reach 5000 followers fast

            • Reach 5000 Twitter followers without losing your mind. Stay accountable to your daily goals and make Twitter fun again.

            • Your 1 stop shop to meet your Twitter goals. Stay accountable, consistent and reach 5000 followers like a breeze

Made a couple more tweaks based on the above, thanks for the ideas!
