Assessing Ideas

Hey Indiehackers,
I'm wondering if anyone has come across a useful tool, or has a pattern they employ in assessing ideas? I tend to have a lot of ideas, but struggle focusing on any one...in part because I don't think I've done this critical step! In the past, at times I've made some matrices assessing perceived effort, market size, etc...but, think I could benefit from a solid template to follow.
