Bad news for solo indie hackers: building alone is killing your startup

Here's a hard truth I've learned after talking to 100+ indie hackers:

  • 80%+ of successful startups have co-founders
  • Solo founders take 3x longer to reach market fit

Why going solo is a trap:

    I love building, but my brain cannot get excited about marketing and sales in the same way.

    Super awesome idea! It's especially hard when you are based in EU but want an American co-founder.

      I realised I had the same problem, but once I started marketing and getting on sales calls, my perspective changed. I'd rather build a business than just a product
