Best ways to monetize my gaming website?

My website: https://www.gamestegy.com/strategies/latest has gained some visitor traction, per week I usually get around 3-5k visitors. 95%+ of them come from Google search results.
The website is about posting game builds/guides/strategies and discussing about them. And the idea is to help those small youtubers or streamers, who have good gaming knowledge to attract some followers or build their "brand"
Now I want to start rolling out some more guides (because still there needs to be content to attract new visitors to the site) and concentrate more on website UI improvements, so I plan to hire some people which would write the content. However, the big question is how should I start monetizing the website?
Currently what I am doing:
- I have an affiliate link embedded in banners .(when you read the guide post you will see the images of the banner). However, it seems that if somebody used the affiliate link, nobody bought anything in the shop being directed to. Of course I do not expect much, because what this banner offers is buying new games. But, my site offers guides/strategies for people who already own the game and want to know how to beat it.
I would like to hear other people's experiences and some options on what I could try next!
You should make its design more eyecatching, then there would be more activity ig. I believe it's important part of a website.
