Build in public with limited transparency?

Hello, all.

Are there IndieHackers that build in public with limited transparency for any reason (legal, though competition, or anything else)?

In my case, I'd like to share most of my metrics/updates for Analyzify (https://www.indiehackers.com/product/analyzify) but I don't feel comfortable sharing everything :)

What are your thoughts on this?

I think the transparency - whatever the extent, as long as the other party feels it - is at the core of building in public. You are being vulnerable and that makes people see your efforts in a different light.

I encourage you to just share. As far as I can tell, people only benefitted.

    Hey
    We recently built https://ansy.ai/
it is a Discord bot that will answer community questions based on chat history of public channels. Cool way to save time of mods.
