Can you name a successful developer tool that was bootstrapped and not open source? I'm having trouble identifying any companies that are a good example. I hope I'm just drawing a blank.
For context, I'm particularly interested in infrastructure/API companies. For example, Stripe for payments, Sendgrid for Email, etc.
Sidekiq. The free version is open source but enterprise is not.

@yongfook built an API company: @BannerBear
@csallen I feel like you might have some insight on this. Any companies you can think of?
I'm not aware of any big ones. I think Postmark was self-funded by Wildbit. Customer.io has only raised a small amount (seed).
Those are both great examples. Thanks Jon!
