I value your knowledge. There is no need to hide that we play online casinos to win money and also just for fun. In this situation, the best alternative to gaming is to play at profitable online casinos. I'm going to have to try this for myself to understand how it really works - it's hard to imagine. It's a cool concept in that it'll help people empathize with sufferers of Alzheimer's - it would be even cooler to come up with a game FOR sufferers of Alzheimer's that would work almost like a form of therapy that helped them remember things.

I'm not a doctor so this could be irrelevant - but I don't think Alzheimer's can be prevented and/or improved through therapy or medicine. So, I was surprised to read "Just as in real life, Alzheimer’s medication can boost the character’s ability to remember, helping players advance in the game. " Whilst the game does seem really cool - I think: to the extent that (1) it could be fun, and (2) it encourages empathy with sufferers of Alzheimer's. I don't think it does much for patients.

It doesn't seem like it was their intention to cure Alzheimer's though. They wanted to "imbue gamers with a better understanding of Alzheimer's...and have a broader emotional impact on the public."

I'm curious to know - are any Indie Hackers building products in the healthcare space?
