Need to catch up on CS and do some feature dev. I have a massive list of email addresses of free customers that I want to start sending to. Currently we don't have a free login experience for Formspree, and we are working on shipping that now. Once it's live we can message existing users and encourage them to sign in.

@jas_hothi Love to share but right now those strategies are founders specific. I am thinking about writing up a few lessons I learned the hard way last year. Once I get a little settled into with a process and new schedule I'll share more.

This month I'm working on growing Indie Hackers' milestones feature.
✅ YESTERDAY I recorded two episodes for the IH podcast with people who've posted some great milestones here. They went really well!
🏆 RESULTS were that I now have two fully-edited podcast episodes to release, and they'll be released in addition to my normal recording schedule. I also got to talk about the milestones feature in both of them. It's too early to say what the effects will be.
👷♀️ TODAY I'm switching transaction email provider from SparkPost to Postmark. This should help with sending milestone-related emails a little bit, but it's mostly for technical reasons.

🏆 Yesterday’s results. Unfortunately very little results. Just a realization that we are in need of major revamping of our launching. Maybe a little hesitation that we are ready for a launch even though the product is ready for use.
👷♀️ What are you doing today? Trying to get onto Product Hunt and betalist so we can get some beta users.
We need Salesforce users who need a direct CC payment tool with invoicing features.
Day 10 for Pulsemetrics.io
✅ Yesterday we launched on Product Hunt, so most of my day was spent marketing that post and drumming up support from the communities I'm a part of
🏆 Pulse got 9 new signups! An all day record for us by far. Of those signups, 4 are set up to be regular users (we send email digests of daily metrics to those folks).
👷♀️ Dealing with the new users and asking them for feedback. I was sidetracked a bit from everything not related to Pulse yesterday, so today I'll go back to trying to find startup founders to invest in for the coming months. Also will start preliminary planning on an event I'll host in the NYC area in the next couple of weeks.
✅Yesterday I started Google ads, reviewed my reddit ads' performance, and continued reading the Traction book.
🏆Compared to not running ads previously, my site traffic has gone up 12x on only ~$30 of spend.

This is day #20, so as promised I'll share metrics/progress! (day #1 stats here)
So far, the only thing really changed a lot is site traffic, which is my one goal for the month. In recent days it's about 50% more than what it was on a typical day last month. Twitter has also been a minor win in that follower growth has about doubled in rate, though it's still very slow in absolute terms.
I'm aiming for growth in search engine traffic, which may be delayed by a couple of months. For now I'll just trust the process and keep the same goal of daily publishing for the remainder of month. I'll do one more update at day #30.

Read your article btw and must say that I recognize that wonderfull feeling of having the freedom to decide when you work. Problems arise when the work you do is so much fun you can't stop doing it. Sometimes the work life balance feels perfect and sometimes you know you're doing it wrong. My guess is that you can't prevent those times and I personally don't have a problem with them. As long as you return to that wonderfull feeling as soon as you can. 😎

👉 Made a few follow-ups to the existing customers.
👉 Checked Google Search Console and was positively surprised by some results upon essential keywords.
👉 Defined some high-level client personas, continued thinking about outreach strategy which will be using for the next 3-6 months.
👉 After a long time, will start to cold-email people. Will try to target them very well to avoid negative impact. The goal is to contact those only, who would actually benefit from the project.
