Day 115: The internet connects over tiny truths

While building Unjam, I’ve noticed that people don’t only bond over difficult emotions.

They bond over tiny, oddly specific experiences.

The kind of things you never think to mention until someone else says them first.

Those moments make people smile because they replace “Is it just me?” with “Wait… everyone does this?”

That’s the kind of recognition I want Unjam to create.

I think the interesting part is that these moments are often too small for people to consciously report.

Whether it's an emotion, a hesitation, or a tiny moment of recognition, most people simply move on because it doesn't feel important enough to explain.

Yet when enough of those small moments point in the same direction, they reveal something much bigger than any single comment could.

I think that's why seemingly insignificant observations can become surprisingly valuable once they start repeating.
