👷♀️ What are you doing today?
Project: Tripetto
✅ Thinking about a better name for our app. What do you think of Studio?
✅ Setting a goal for this week; 2 new paid customers for our Wordpress plugin. Exponential growth is the target here. 💪
✅ Improving the website (ongoing)
🏆 Got another review in an article about our Wordpress pluging (free publicity again!). Really great to see people reviewing your product and seeing the potential.
👷♀️ Finishing new features (coding, code reviewing, testing)
👷♀️ Improving the website (ongoing)
👷♀️ Starting to research the opportunities of an article about a comparison between a competitor and Tripetto. Thinking of a side by side video to visualize the benefits of using our plugin.
I've decided not to post results everyday, partly because they are a bit depressing (haha), but I also just want to get on with doing and then reviewing results weekly or so.
Brighton Indie Hackers
👷♀️ Today I'm hosting a dinner meetup, we're expecting 10 people to show up, it show be fun!
Rosie.land
👷♀️ I wrote a blog post about something I've posted on IH a couple of times related to LinkedIn page growth
👷♀️Posted it to GrowtHackers, last post I posted there didn't result in anything
👷♀️Copy/pasted blog post into /marketing reddit. I didn't put a link, but I may add it in afterwards or as a comment. I'm waiting to see the response to it first.
Thanks for sharing about your LinkedIn page growth! We have very few followers there to our page. Would it still be of any use trying to be more conversation driven? How do none followers find your updates? Search and hashtags?
I think you should get followers before posting conversations, otherwise conversational posts will have no comments.
To get followers, things I've done and would recommend, I'm doing this for IH LinkedIn page too:
Great actionable tips. Thanks @rosiesherry!

That's a very good lander - One thing I felt missing though is a comparison table with GA. I mean since your tagline mentions about being a GA alternative, shouldn't there be a comparison?
Thanks, that's a very good point! I'm writing it down :)
I have thought about creating a separate landing page to compare with Google Analytics. Hoping that page would rank for keywords like 'google analytics alternative'.
Day 16 / 30 : www.powai.xyz #30daysofgrowth

Do discovery callsSchedule a few explore calls for next week.Maybe this is anti-growth move, but yesterday I turned off my ads because my website wasn't converting them to users at a high enough rate. I'm going to take a couple days to make changes to the website copy and run a pricing test via surveys to see if there might be an issue with how I'm pricing. I learned about the Van Westendorp pricing survey which will hopefully give me the results I need.
That made me think of the not to do list discussion I started recently.
Growing alchemist.camp one happy camper at a time
Goal: site traffic (reported every 10 days)

Growing FREJA NYC - Vegan leather handbag brand https://frejanyc.com/blog/
✅ Followed-up with the interviewees who participated last week
✅ Engaged in social media for promoting Freja
🏆 Got few more subscribers to the blog
👷♀️ Looking for other ways to promote our blog on Social media
Day 16 for pulsemetrics.io
✅ Yesterday I sent emails to every person who had signed up for Pulse but was not yet an actual user. Also sent info about the project to some early stage startups.
🏆 Got one reply from a guy in Germany who we'll have a call to walk through the setup process tomorrow. No new subscribers, will have to work a little harder for the remainder of the week. Early stage startups replied back with some kind remarks, but they didn't show extreme enthusiasm for the product.
👷♀️ Today I'm going to update our contact lists and send out an update email to our subscribers. Was thinking about recycling a blog post from earlier in the year, but I only sent one out yesterday for a separate blog so don't want to spam the groups I'm in. I'll probably send it out in some other groups and then circle back to my Slack channels tomorrow.

Just remember, communities someone leading and pushing for conversations to happen otherwise it will die a sad sad death. :)

It doesn't have to be the same person leading it, but there always needs to be someone there leading the conversation, imho. Or it will die. It's what I keep seeing. If someone doesn't lead/push then things die.
Same with bootstrapped businesses. If the founder(s) don't lead and push for their vision, it will (probably) fail.

Yeah, I've looked into all sorts of models in the past. I think I've probably used many ideas from many different approaches.
My rosie approach is 'do what's right, be nice, find someone to take responsibility/lead, create a nice environment, treat people well, apply common sense and find people that care approach'
