[day 24] 48 hours to go for launch 2.0. let’s see if it sticks.

been a busy sunday gearing up for the next launch.

finally put a date on it: 05-05-26, choose it primarily because of the repeating digits. but that's in two days and had a lot to shoot today.

a few demos, cut up for horizontal and vertical formats.
a few explainers, hopefully enough to get people excited about the launch.

also planning to give away 100 pro licences for it.
not sure how effective that would be, try haven't tried this lever yet, so looking forward to learning from this experience.

all in all, a productive sunday. i really hope the next launch gives me some more momentum.

but the good part is that building in public has changed a few things. from asking "will this work?" i am saying "let's find out".

curious to know what building in public has changed for you

Rooting for you on this Launch 2.0! I'm about 48 hours behind you—just opening up our sandbox for 'breaker' testing on a new CMS project.

How are you handling the 'Day 1' feedback loop? Are you using a Discord forum for bug reports or sticking to GitHub issues? I'm curious which one gets higher engagement for an early-stage beta.

appreciate it! and good luck with your launch too, happy to know that we’re almost on the same timeline.

i’m actually keeping it super simple for now, just collecting feedback through dm + comments

it’s a bit messy, but works for now

what made you lean towards discord vs github for yours?

        DMs are definitely high-signal!

We actually decided to run both. We use Discord Forum channels for our early 'breaker' testers because there’s less friction—it’s much easier for an early adopter to drop a quick screenshot of a bug there without the formality of opening a ticket.

But we still keep GitHub Discussions open for more structured, long-term architectural chats. Best of both worlds!

Good luck with the final countdown! Drop a reply here when you officially launch so I can go support it.
