"Psychological tax" — that's exactly it. Product improving daily but the number doesn't move yet. Hitting X #buildinpublic and IH first. Then direct outreach to solo founders I've already had conversations with this week. Reddit week 2 once I have social proof to point to. The bet: 5 real conversations > 500 passive impressions.

Love the landing page. Messaging maybe could be tightened up a bit, is it for solo or teams? PM implies there is a team, but perhaps this doesn't require a team?
Really useful feedback — thank you. You've spotted a real gap in the messaging. It's primarily for solo founders and indie hackers, but scales to small teams (up to 5 on Pro). The "PM" framing does imply a team setup which is the wrong signal.
Going to tighten the landing page copy this week — "sprint planning for solo builders" is probably the cleaner angle. Appreciate you saying it directly.

Nick — genuinely grateful for this. Watched it twice. You caught things I'd stopped seeing because I'd been staring at the same pages for weeks. Already pushed fixes for all the actionable points:
- "No credit card required" now on the signup form and sign-in page (that was the real blocker)
- Nav hierarchy flipped — Sign In is now primary
- GTD renamed to Quick Capture Inbox
- Em dashes being cleaned throughout

Thanks buddy that's so kind of you. I'm signing up now and I prefer using Google oauth and I see you are using a third party for this. Not a huge biggie but I do see "Sign in to emergentagent.com" which is not ideal. Something to consider. If you're using supabase its super easy to brand but does cost $10/m I believe for custom auth URLs.
Thanks Nick, just removed the Google OAuth entirely: email/password only for now. Cleaner and no third-party domain showing up on the consent screen. Will add proper branded Google + Apple sign in before the Product Hunt launch. Thanks for catching it during your signup, that's why building in public works.

10 fixes in 5 days is solid. the hard part usually isn't the shipping - it's getting users to actually integrate it into their workflow before dropping off. what's the moment you're building toward?
The moment I'm building toward: a solo founder describes their idea on a Monday morning and has a full week of work planned in 30 seconds. Not "here are some tasks" but a sequenced, prioritized sprint that actually reflects how one person ships. No estimation meetings with yourself. No Sunday evening planning dread.
The workflow integration problem you're pointing at is real. My bet is that if the first sprint feels magical, the habit forms. If it feels like another tool to maintain, it doesn't.
That's why the AI generation is the entry point, not the daily standup or the kanban board. The magic has to happen in the first 60 seconds or it never happens.
Week 2 is about finding out if that bet is right.

What channels worked for you across your 15 tools?
yeah reddit is tough. i got removed from 4 subreddits before r/XXS worked. that one only worked because the post was genuinely useful to that specific community. for my other tools i havent actually promoted them anywhere yet. i just have links on my reddit profile and some people find them on their own. the numbers are small but they exist which is interesting. depending on how those numbers grow i might push harder on certain ones or even reach out to companies about listing deals. the jewelry database was my first real attempt at putting something in front of actual users and it worked but getting there was the hardest part. reddit mods are brutal and i still dont have a good repeatable way to reach end users directly. thats my biggest challenge right now. the DM approach is really interesting to me. are you DMing on X? how do you find the right people to reach out to and what does the message look like? would love to know more about how thats going
Reddit mods are brutal is an understatement. Value-first or don't bother is the only rule that seems to work.
On DMs: I'm doing it on X, not Reddit. Finding people by searching #buildinpublic and looking for founders who posted about planning, sprints, or feeling overwhelmed by their PM setup. Reply to their post first, then DM 24-48h later if they engaged back.

Too early to report real conversion data but the conversations are genuine. Will update when numbers exist.
