I'm interested in learning more about email-based courses that are timed, automated and self-service to the user like: https://www.designacademy.io/ (i.e. learn the fundamentals of design in 6 days with a new lesson each day).
If you've done one, can you explain how you created it, and whether or not it had a positive impact on the conversion rates for whatever you were trying to sell when someone went through the course?
Not for purchase. But I can see significant improvement on other key metrics.
I’ve created a 6 weeks onboarding / educational email content on MailChimp for a startup that I’m leading. There’s a specific topic each week and clear call to action for sign ups/ create profiles etc.
Key takeaways:
That's good to know. So the course you created was educational beyond just how to use your product?
Thanks for your patience. Been away for a while. Still, a long way to be considered as a course, but we're going into this direction.
Yes, mainly for onboarding purposes. Once a week, bit-sized content to help our users get ready for the product. Of coz, we've included some blurbs to upsell other services.
