Do you publish a newsletter?

1. Yes! Just started Founder Street - weekly interesting industries and business breakdowns. Was in the space 2 years ago but never focused on it due to full-time work commitments.
2. For now it's free, but I'm looking to introduce a paid model (not based on ads), already got this in mind.
3. Carrd for my landing page, EmailOctopus for sending out e-mails. Keeping it fairly simple for now.

Just flipped the switch on the paid membership this week! Nerve wracking but also very exciting.

The link is newsletter.craftsmancreative.co and it's a 1x/week newsletter written for artists, creatives, and small business owners (i.e. Indie Hackers!). Each issue has a principle to help you start, fix, and grow your business, and how to implement it immediately to start getting results.

The first issue each month is free and used to get subscribers, and the rest of the months issues are for members only.

I decided to go with getrevue.co for the hosting, but plan on switching over to Convertkit as soon as they release their recurring subscription option (in the next month or so from what it sounds like)

3. I use Substack, I have tried many other things but the ease of use trumps everything else. I don't really miss the custom domain (like others say instead) for now, I think it's not really important.

1. I just finished my sixth issue of Small Tech Business, which is a curated newsletter for indie founders

2. Nope, completely free, I don't personally think curated newsletters work well with a paid subscription model.

3. I use Notion to capture all articles and podcasts that I encounter during the week. Substack for authoring and publishing. I've started trying out Mailbrew.com to help aggregate content from the sources I follow (Twitter, Reddit, HN, etc).

1. Yes. I publish Customer Fitted with weekly marketing & growth playbooks guiding readers into making successful businesses.
2. No, But I am thinking about it (but bundled with more than paid content, a community, a course, and more).
3. I use ConvertKit. I was already using it to build my email list before I launched the newsletter. I would have probably used something else if I was just starting. I don’t use anything else but I also publish the content on my website.

3. We are using Wix for right now, we don't use Wix for our website, but you can send out three newsletters a month on a free tier Wix account. This lets us get a free service that collects delivered/opened/clicked rates. (the Wix website technically attached to the email service is just a redirect to our page)
