Just finished the MVP for this, want to make sure the landing page makes sense. What do you think? Anything I can improve upon?
https://briskvoyage.com/
Thanks!
I like this. It's very clear. If I sign up and I'll get flights and hotels information on my email.
I get them on Tuesday, I fly that Friday.
Feedback:
The "Some our of deals" look like clickable cards, but they don't do anything. I know this is the mvp. Question: What is going to happen when the user clicks on them.
The confirmation screen should be more obvious, like take over the main image. Right now is too subtle
I don't see a way to unsubscribe ( you can delete my email test@fast-coin.com)
The main image grows with the browser, which it's a bit annoying. I usually make my browser larger to be able to see the content below the fold, but in your site I just get a bigger image, and I have to scroll anyway.
The fly, hotel, beach icons could be 50% smaller
There's something about the fonts/colors that I can't fully explain but could be improved, I think they look inconsistent, but to be 100% honest I can't articulate what it is. Checkout refactoringui.com to see if you can get some tips on the examples they have.
This is great work! Keep it going.
On a very very personal note, I wouldn't sign up myself, because despite the fact I'd love to find flights hotels at low price, I don't want to get yet another email every week when I can't ... wait a minute...
I was going to say I can't travel every single week, but if the prices are that low I might :D
Anyway my point was that I most likely won't be able to travel every weekend even if the prices are super low and I would still get another email that I have to filter / ignore.
But definitely this would be the first place I would come to look at prices when I feel like taking some time off.
Thanks for the useful feedback! There's an unsubscribe option on the weekly emails, but I went ahead and removed that test you submitted :)
All your point about the UI make sense - I'll probably do a revamp of the front page when I'm able to work on that again, my main focus right now is the product itself.
I agree with you about the weekly thing - I was thinking I could maybe change this to be less frequent, and just email when a really good deal comes up, as opposed to weekly. That may be a better model.
Here's what I understood:
Seems straightforward!
yes its quite easy and obvious to understand ... you just need to show some authentic customers and build some trust ... then it will grow !
I understand it. Except for as @shichongrui pointed out, I don't know if I get the deals for that weekend or another weekend.
I really like the concept and I love a deal. That's why I signed up.
I’ll repeat how I understood it.
You are providing a service for people who want to get away for the weekend by sending them comprehensive (flights, and hotels) trip deals from their origin airport.
One thing I didn’t find is if the deals you get on Tuesday are for that weekend, or for a later weekend?
So kind of like scottscheapflights.com with a more specific audience of people just wanting to get away for the weekend.
Great job getting to the MVP!
That's right! Good point - that was not clear. I just edited the copy in the section below the sign-up part, let me know if that makes more sense.
Yeah it looks great. Immediately tells me that I'm going to be getting away that weekend.
I had a look and had no questions whatsoever.
Hey Gus
I understand what it does but not how it's different.
