FAANG software engineer looking to build the next big idea

A bit about me: I've been a full-stack Software Engineer at FAANG for several years now. I've always had an intense drive to build world-changing products and had the opportunity to do so several times in my current role. I've built & launched several products from scratch, led teams of 10+ engineers, and worked across a range of industries. I’m comfortable with nearly every tech stack.

Now though, I hope to realize my lifelong dream of building a company and facing all the exciting challenges that come with it. I've built several side projects over the years (a few that even made it to the interview stage at YC) and have deep passion for building delightful products in general.

I'm mainly interested in Fintech, B2B, SaaS, E-commerce, but really open to anything that clicks.

My primary goal is to build out a startup with the goal of turning it into a multi-million/multi-billion dollar company— ambitious, I know, but we all start somewhere! I'm realistic about our means but ambitious about our goals and I hope you are too.

Some things that I'm looking for in my future co-founder:

  1. Already have an idea that you believe can revolutionize the industry (ideally validated or have traction)
  2. Have product, sales, and/or marketing experience (basically you can handle all business operations while I take care of the technical side)
  3. Bonus: already have a landing page or MVP, or at least a detailed plan for an MVP!

If this sounds interesting to you, please reach out to me via the email in my profile!

Hey @TimeToBuild - I check off all three things you'e looking for and I just got a small round of funding. I'm tackling one of the biggest industries. As a technical founder, I'm looking for a technical partner. you can email me at [email protected] - profs is NOT the company. This is a different company. Hope to hear from you!

Hey, what about building a crypto native one-stop shop for legal, tax, and accounting services? It's quite complex from the legal/regulatory side, but it's definitely a multi-billion dollar company idea. I am a lawyer in Tier 1 TMT law firm advising Web3 projects, so I have relevant experience and contacts. I will handle all the business/regulatory stuff, but I did not yet find anyone on the tech side who would be up to the task to co-found such a venture. Would be happy to chat if it sounds like anything you want to work on!

Hey TimeToBuild, I am new to the platform I literally signed up less than an hour ago LOL. I joined Indie Hackers looking for a partner with technical skills and ambition that aligns with mine. I have all the development and business model documents needed to create an app. I just don't have a technical partner yet to bring it into existence. Pst! By the way my startup is based in the food allergen market which will grow to $37 billion dollars by 2027. Please email or direct message me, so we can link and talk on a partnership. Be safe till we talk.
