Fearful guy now has the app up for open testing

Nobody probably remembers me. I posted early last year talking about the fear and overwhelm related to building a product for the first time. Here's the post:

Anyway, I did not come through with my promise of posting updates for accountability. I decided that my time was better spent just finishing the damn thing. I still doordash full time and had to spend time with the family, so the limited mental ram had to be alotted strategically.

Anyway, after a year, the App is now up for open testing, currently for Android users (ios the next couple of weeks). The name of the app is Kindreds, it's where musicians go to find their creative kindred spirits. (That's a fancy way of saying finally find the jam buddies you've been looking for.)

I am now at the stage of figuring out how to get past the chicken and egg phase and would love to ask for a couple of things from the community:

  1. If you or anyone you know is an Android(ios coming in a couple of weeks) user and plays a musical instrument, please share the link or tell them about this
  2. If you have any tips for getting past the zero to one phase organically for this niche, I would love to hear it.

This is obviously an MVP so please be easy on me lol. I also decided to not necessarily go the bootstrapped, indie hacker route on this one and will apply to YC or possibly other incubators. Any opinions on that would be appreciated as well.

This is also the first place I am going to post this link, and will let it simmer for the day and then do all of the other sites like product hunt, etc

So if you or someone you know is gonna try the app, enjoy and I hope to I hear from you.
