Hey
Olly here from https://board.first100users.com and roastmylandingpage.com.
The first 100 users board has now been viewed over 10,000 times.
As a result, I am working on launching an 8 week paid marketing course for founders. I would love your feedback on the page:
https://course.first100users.com/book
I spend a lot of my day roasting landing pages, so sometimes it's hard to be objective when reviewing my own.
The aim of the landing page is to get people to register for my course.
Questions:
I think you could do more to establish your credibility. Especially because, at £500, the price is quite steep for a founder who hasn't yet found their first 100 users.
As a potential customer, I'd expect you to tell me more about the products that you've worked on, and how they're relevant to the course you're teaching.
Also, saying "users" doesn't imply paying users. I'd say it could even imply the opposite. The word "users" appears 15 times on the page. Only 1 says "paying users."
I hope that helps! 😊
@Merott Hey it's very useful thanks. Do you suggest I add more details to my bio section? Companies I've worked with and achievements realised?
Yes, that would be helpful, although…
I should add that I'm probably not in your target audience. £500 is too much for the stage I'm in (no product), no matter how much convincing you do! :)
My first impressions of a 'course' is something like Udemy, but this seems more hands on, with real feedback (skype call?)
I think you can make that more clear.
Its actually something I'd be interested in, but pricing is a bit steep (seeing as I have very few paying users ha. catch22, would it be a fit for pagewatch?)
Hey
So it's a digital video course. But it's timed to run over 8 weeks. For you, and 9 other founders.
8 week we have a one-hour call with me to work through the course, review tasks, and discuss challenges.
It also includes 1 hour of one-on-one consultancy.
Do you think I could make it more clear @lpellis?
I've added a video and 'what you get' section to make it more clear. Thanks again for your feedback.
