First version of product is up, got first 25 customers

Hey everybody!

Trying to do a better job of working in public, so wanted to share my progress so far. This community has been massively helpful in my journey to starting up my side business.

My product is https://lever.so, a course and community to help new developers get their first job.

I built the landing page using Umso, am charging using Stripe, and the course content and community are hosted on Circle.

I have a payment button set up through Umso's Stripe integration, and a Zapier automation that takes new Stripe customers and adds them to Circle.

Currently, half the course content is up, and the cost to join is a one-time payment of $37, once the course content has been finished, I'll be bumping up the price to $67.

Most of my traffic has come from writing articles for FreeCodeCamp.org and linking to Lever's sales page at the end.

So far, I've had 721 visits and 24 sales, for a conversion rate of 3.3%.

I have to give a huge shoutout to @pascallaliberte, I implemented the landing page feedback he gave me in this post: https://www.indiehackers.com/post/would-love-some-feedback-on-version-one-of-my-landing-page-2757a0f922 and my conversion rate has been hovering around 3% since then.

My current goals are to get the course content finished, increase the price, and continue going after the content marketing while growing my presence on Twitter and LinkedIn to drive traffic from those sources as well.

As I get more students into the group and get more feedback and can tweak the course content, I'm considering partnering with coding bootcamps and organizations that teach the technical side of coding.
