Quick offer. I'm building a tool that answers one question: when people ask ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, and Gemini for tools like yours, do you show up, or does a competitor?
Before I write any code, I want to run 20 of these audits manually to see if the output is actually useful to anyone.
Here's what I'll do for you, for free:
- I'll run 30-50 buyer-intent prompts in your category across all 4 LLMs, then tell you how often you get cited compared to your top 3 competitors.
- I'll list the prompts where you should have shown up but didn't, and I'll give you a prioritized fix list. Not the obvious "add schema.org" stuff - the strategic side: which sources are getting cited instead of yours, where the real gaps are, what's making competitors stick in the model's answers.

“LLM visibility audit” sounds like a report. What you’re actually showing is that people are losing customers because they don’t show up in AI answers.
That’s a revenue problem, not an audit.
Something closer to:
“see where AI is sending your customers instead of you”
or
“find where you’re losing buyers in ChatGPT results”
will land much faster.
Also worth thinking early about the name. “Audit” feels passive. This is more about visibility and capturing demand.
If this works, I’d lean into that angle sooner rather than later.

But what you’re actually showing is:

That’s way more urgent.
If I’m a founder, I don’t care about visibility as a metric.
I care about:
“who is getting my users instead of me?”
So I’d lean harder into that framing early.
Something like:
“see where AI is sending your customers instead of you”
That hits instantly.
Also on your question — from what I’ve seen, competitors winning lands harder than just “you’re missing.”
Loss feels abstract. Seeing someone else take your spot makes it real.
If you get that emotional hit right in the output, this becomes a no-brainer to act on.
This is a sensible way to test it, but the audit will land better if it shows the exact prompts used, where the product did or did not appear, and 2 or 3 fixes ranked by effort. Biggest pitfall is giving founders a vague visibility score with no clear next step. A simple before-and-after checklist would make the feedback much more actionable.
