From fake certificates to real proof: why I’m building ProofAura

I’m Asim, a full-stack dev from India building ProofAura. The idea came from a final-year CS student who asked me for an internship—not for a certificate, but to actually build and learn.
When I looked closer, I saw the same pattern everywhere:
Dummy “internship” projects made only for submissions
Institutes selling certificates with no real work
Students ticking requirements but not gaining real experience
With ProofAura, I’m trying to fix that:
Students work on real, structured projects
Their work is tied to verifiable, tamper-proof certificates
Companies can quickly verify skills and proof of work, not just paper

I’d love feedback from this community on two things:
What would make this clearly valuable for companies hiring interns?
What’s the smallest “proof of work” you’d trust as a signal of real skills?
I'd be careful with one thing.
The interesting question may not be what proof of work companies trust.
It may be which decision ProofAura is actually helping them make once that proof exists.
Those sound similar, but they can lead to very different conclusions about who the real customer is, what gets validated, and which signals deserve confidence.
I wouldn't make that call casually this early.
