Hi everyone π Iβm one of the makers of Nano Banana β a curated hub of trending AI image prompts and real-world creative use cases. In this post I want to share the story behind the project, the technical decisions, what worked (and what didnβt), and the lessons learned on building an indie AI SaaS.
Nano Banana is a curated directory that helps creators quickly discover popular AI image prompts and creative workflows without spending hours doing trial-and-error.
Instead of asking users to write prompts from scratch, we showcase:
Trending AI image prompts
Viral creative ideas
Real-world use cases
Tips for high-engagement visuals
We built it because we saw so many creators stuck on βhow do I prompt this AI model to get better results?β β and no simple place to explore examples and remix them.
A few months ago, I was building AI visuals for a project and kept hitting the same problem:
crafting effective prompts takes time + knowledge + luck.
Most generative prompt tools are either:
Too generic (βwrite a prompt for a logoβ)
Too technical (model specific syntax)
Focused on paid options or bots
But creators want:
β practical examples
β proven prompt results
β inspiration right away
Thatβs why Nano Banana is focused on curated content β not auto-generated lists.
Congrats on the launch, looks solid. How are you currently thinking about acquiring early users and gathering feedback?
