GMail hacked to maximize exposure!

https://www.customerly.io/blog/marketing/2019/01/15/improve-your-email-open-rate-by-40-with-this-secret

While I was creating the funnel for our new eBook we are about to release I was annoyed by the Promotion and Update Tab of Gmail.

I knew that if our emails land in the Promotion or Update tab we'd never have a good open rate.

So I started checking which was the subject and content that land in the primary inbox letting my phone turn on with a new notification from Gmail!

I discovered a few tricks that worked like a charm. Since I'm using the Customerly Funnel builder I was able to test instantly the subject and the content in seconds.

These are the test I did so far with what worked and what didn't

❌ Promotion

✅ Primary

❌ Updates

Those are the tips I can share with you to avoid the Promotion and the Update tab:

  • Don't use graphics, use plain text emails
  • Use your recipient name
  • Exclude salesly words
  • Insert a maximum of 1 Link

Check out this article with this strategy nobody told you that will increase your chances to land in the primary tab with a higher open rate:

Thanks for sharing! Just curious, but how many tests did you made in total?

Anyone else who has made similar tests?
