Growing a Personal Brand on Twitter (in 30 days) ๐Ÿฆ

Twitter is an amazing place for indie hackers, to grow connections, build in public, and even gather users. I have had Twitter for a few years, but started ACTUALLY using it about 1 or 2 weeks ago. It is easy to see all the success people have in their personal brands, but how do they actually do it?

Over the next 30 days, I am going to research the Twitter algo and try to grow my own personal brand. Hereโ€™s my plan at the moment:

  • Between 10 - 15 comments per day
  • Between 1 - 2 tweets per day
  • DM to try and grow connections
  • Post threads 1 - 2 times per week

Based on some initial research, this seems to be the course of action I will take. In the comments, let me know if there is anything else that y'all would recommend me to do. Also, when do you recommend I purchase Twitter Blue?

I will return to this post in 30 days, and share my results.

As for purchasing Twitter Blue, it may be worth considering if you want to take advantage of its premium features, such as the ability to undo tweets and organize bookmarks. However, it's not necessary for growing your personal brand on Twitter, so it's up to you to decide if the benefits are worth the cost.

    1. 1

Yeah I agree. I think I will purchase it when I reach 50 or so followers.

Great plan! I completely agree that Twitter is an amazing place for indie hackers to grow their connections, build in public, and even gather users. I have also found it to be a great platform for networking and building my personal brand website https://apkstates.com/. Your plan to research the Twitter algorithm and grow your personal brand is a smart move.

In terms of recommendations, I would suggest trying to engage with other users in your niche or industry by joining Twitter chats or participating in conversations. Additionally, using relevant hashtags in your tweets can help increase visibility and reach a wider audience. As for purchasing Twitter Blue, I think it really depends on your individual needs and goals.

I'm excited to follow along with your journey and see your results after 30 days. Keep up the great work! For those interested in following along, check out Rohan's Twitter profile at https://twitter.com/ItsRohanPhilip.

This is a fantastic plan! It's amazing to see someone taking the initiative to grow their personal brand on Twitter. Your dedication and enthusiasm are truly inspiring. Keep experimenting and engaging with others authentically, and you'll surely achieve your goals. Remember, consistency is key! Best of luck on your 30-day journey, and I look forward to seeing your progress. ๐Ÿš€

What specific strategies or content have you found most effective in growing your personal brand on Twitter so far? Do you think Twitter Blue is necessary for growth, or can it be achieved without the premium features?

what do you guys think of the "bulk follow" strategy to get a kickstart? I feel like having a beginner profile with 300 followers is better than >100

Exactly Twitter is an amazing place to build community because it has a special audience. And I always use Inshot pro for making attractive posts from https://inshotproapk.app its an amazing app for making your personal photos and posts

      Haha no problem!

    Good luck with this!

I also would like to grow my Twitter brand but I am afraid it will feel like work. When I tried it back in 2021 I completely lost the enjoyment of browsing and connecting with people with the same interests...

Anyway, I recommend Typefully to schedule and take notes for your tweets.

      Ah, thanks for the recommendation!

Twitter is indeed an excellent platform for building connections and engaging with a community.

Your plan of comments and 1-2 tweets per day, and DMing seems like a good start.

I'll follow your journey on Twitter and look forward to hearing about your results in 30 days. Good luck!

Thank you! Looking forward to the results as well ๐Ÿ˜Š

Hey Rohan, this seems like a great start. I would probably also try to identify the type of audience you are trying to grow and what influencers currently exist in that space, so you can engage with them through comments, and dms. I noticed no one mentioned the contents of the tweets. I see you want to tweet 1-2 times a day, but don't forget if there is no value in the tweets that you can send 100 a day and you won't grow.

    1. 1

Ah ok, thanks for that tip. I will always strive to be as authentic as possible.
