Got my first video review today from @nickmartin (he built PeerPull for exactly this) — 5 stars,
two honest fixes:
1. "No credit card required" was buried in FAQ. -> Now visible in the hero.
2. Em dashes in copy signal AI-generated text. -> Fixing now.
This is why building in public works.
Week 1 numbers:
- 10 fixes shipped
- #1 IH Build Board
- 5 IH comments
- 1 video review from a real founder
- 1 user email with a product idea
- €0 MRR (still)
If you want honest video feedback on your product, find @nickmartin in his IH profile — PeerPull is worth it.
Distribution is the only job now.

Thanks my man very much appreciate you! Oh and maybe edit the link to PeerPull so you use your referral link. That way you can get more video reviews if people register from your link :)
the gap between attention and revenue is where most early products live. build board #1 means the positioning resonates — that's actually the harder half. what's the specific friction between "likes this" and "pays for this"?
Honest answer: I don't fully know yet. My best guess is that people resonate with the problem (sprint planning is painful) but aren't sure AgileTask solves it better than their current setup (usually a Notion doc or nothing). The fix is probably getting them to generate one sprint. Once they see it work, the "why not" disappears. That's why the 14-day no-CC trial is the whole bet. What's the friction point you see in your own product?
That reframe is useful. The product ships daily whether or not anyone pays for it. The community watching is the proof of concept. No credit card removes the last excuse not to try. The trust has to exist before payment anyway. Might as well earn it publicly.
Exactly. Payment is the last step, not the first ask. You build the thing in public, the trust accumulates, and by the time the cart opens it's almost a formality
