How can a SaaS company build revenue predictability? [Blog]

The more I think about it, the more I realize—revenue generation is just like science.

In a science lab, mixing Hydrogen+Oxygen atoms always results in water. In the context of SaaS, building predictable routines and mixing them almost always lead to predictable revenue.

But how to build revenue predictability if your SaaS business just has a handful of paying customers in the pipeline?

There's actually a science-like approach to do it. Here's how:

  • Predictable revenue happens when you have a predictable pipeline.
  • Predictable pipeline is a result of having predictable salespeople.
  • Predictable salespeople are the ones who have predictable days.
  • Predictable day is a result of a predictable routine.

But how does the rubber meet the road? If this intrigues you, I recently wrote a blog post based on Avoma CEO's podcast interview.
