📢Advertisers started contacting me when I reached 1,000 subscribers. Also, I listed my channel on Telegram advertising exchanges.
🤑I didn't set a low price for advertising and valued my audience. Better to publish less advertising but at a higher price. Don't look at the price set by other channels. I publish ads 1-3 times a week.
$14,394/12 Months = $1,200 per Month (Amount after Tax Payment).
It is a good additional source of income. But it's possible to earn more. There are channels on Telegram earning $10,000 a month, $20,000 a month, and even more (example: Varlamov News).
Bonus: You can advertise your own product.

At the start it's a slow process. But after 1000 subscribers it's much easier. Patience and regular work are important.

what are your best free resources/guides when it comes to starting up a telegram channel?
I don't have such. I dug through tons of information.
I only can recommend read resources in Russian language (you can use Google Translate extension for automatic page translation). There are a lot of information telegram channel promotion. Maybe I will share for free some additional information in my X (Twitter) account. But the main points of promotion are:

The answer is simple. Because I use Telegram and don't use Whatsapp. And as far as I know Whatsapp channels were released recently.
I sold it with a business broker. It wasn't easy and took a lot of time and meetings. I don't recommend this way especially if your business is completely online. Unfortunately in country where I live before only this way was available.
I heard about acquire.com. I will use this site and other for selling my current projects.
