How it actually works (The Workflow) 🛠️

I wanted the setup to be as frictionless as a SaaS, but fully local. Here is the flow:

  1. The Local Brain (Office PC): The business owner runs a 1-click Windows installer. This sets up the local database and the Server silently in the background. The manager uses the beautiful Desktop Client to visually map out their warehouse (drawing shelves, yards) and manage inventory.

  2. The Worker's Tool (Android App): The warehouse staff installs the companion mobile app. They don't need to sit at a desk. They just walk up to a pallet, use their phone's camera (or a rugged scanner) to scan the barcode, and click "Receive" or "Dispatch".

  3. The Real-Time Sync: As soon as a worker scans an item out in the yard, the Desktop Client in the office updates instantly. No refreshing needed.

  4. Smart Expiration Tracking: Since a lot of physical goods expire (food, chemicals), the dashboard automatically highlights batches that are getting dangerously close to their expiration date.
