Hello everyone!
I'm now trying to interview potential customers to validate if they have a problem that I suspect .
(see my idea post here: https://www.indiehackers.com/post/slack-discord-alternative-specifically-for-makers-to-run-a-user-community-abd3bd1f88)
The interview usually takes < 30min, and the target customers who I want to interview are someone who has experience in running a user community for their product development.
In this case, what you do think about how much I should pay to a customer for the interview?
Assume i have a Discord server with a community based around my company giving me feedback and new ideas. Why should I invest time to switch to your chat app and risk loosing a portion of my community? Why should any of the users already familiar with Discord switch to the app? What are the benefits? If you can really make this clear to your customers and your app is worth taking the risks you don't have to pay them anything. You can offer them a discount once the product is released. Good Luck!
Totally agree with you. But the point is that we need to check that out before making a product. Now I'm trying to understand what problems community managers have to get feedback from customers in their product community.
