How two Indie Hackers posts TRIPLED my subscribers 💪

Last week, The BuildFaster Update had 5 subscribers. That was 3 weeks after launching it.

Now I'm at 15.

How did such a big jump happen in less than a week?

Simple. It was IndieHackers! 🥳

I first started by posting about Why I switched to Substack and that got some sign ups. I was pretty happy. 😄

However, that was not the end of this...

Today, I posted a milestone for BuildFaster announcing that I reached 10 subscribers. That got lots of attention and in only a few hours, I reached the magical number 15.

This is why IndieHackers is awesome. It's full of people that are interested in what you are creating and who want to help you along the journey.

This just makes me want to tell IndieHackers:

You da best!

Hope you enjoyed reading this! If you want to subscribe and get weekly updates on new themes, discounts, and stories, sign up here: buildfaster.substack.com

    Hi Brayden,

I signed up for BuildFaster - it seems pretty informative.

I'm trying to add a "Competition" section to Uclusion so that https://medium.com/uclusion/an-opinionated-review-of-asynchronous-team-collaboration-tools-for-2020-2104ef1897d3 can be in a link from a nav bar we are adding at the top. Do you have advice on how to create something that looks as good or better than the Medium page in a plain React app?

    Thank you,
    David

      Thanks!

I’m not sure about that exactly. I don’t have lots of experience with React. Try designing it in Figma first and then translate that into the HTML and CSS code for the React app.
