The hierarchy and how this connects depends on the project management platform but simplifying my projects to Product, Project, Market/Product Goals, and associated 3-5 tasks per goal has made it easier for my team and I pursue projects without feeling overwhelmed.
This setup is similar to the OKR to KPI system that I believe was developed by Google (or Google heavily uses/used).
