hurray! I Made My First Internet Money($10)
Hey everyone,
I just made my first $10 from a side project and honestly I can't describe how good it feels to earn my first money online.
I've been building side projects for a while but none of them really worked out. Over time my motivation and confidence became very low. During some of my lowest moments motivational quotes and positive words helped me feel better and regain some confidence.
Because of that, I created a set of positive affirmation cards for myself. I printed them and started reading them in the morning, at night, and whenever I was feeling down. They genuinely helped me stay positive and focused.
Later I decided to upload the cards to Gumroad just to see what would happen. To my surprise I made 2 sales and earned my first $10 online.
It may not sound like much but for me it's a huge milestone. Not only because of the money but because something I created for myself is now helping other people too. It makes me feel like I've finally built something useful.

Congrats raz. The detail that got me wasn't the $10, it was that you made these cards for yourself first, to get through your own low moments, and only later put them on Gumroad. You actually needed the thing, which most launches can't say.
One gentle push: the cards are a one-off, low repeat buy, so "make more cards" probably isn't the growth lever, your story is. The arc you wrote here (failing projects, low confidence, building something that helped you, a stranger paying) is more shareable than any product page, and you're the proof it works.
Put that story everywhere the cards are, in your own plain words. Really happy for you, first sale from a stranger is a real milestone.

Feedback since you asked: what saved you was tied to a specific pain, the builder low after projects flop. A set aimed right there beats generic affirmations. Sell to the version of you from six months ago.

I think what is cool is you started out scratching your own itch, and then just out of curiosity throwing it up on Gumroad to see what would happen shows you have a legit solution people will pay for. Now just time to double down on distribution.

And now my main income is from online services, which I never thought it would happen.
So keep it up, today $10 tomorrow $30 and in some years as a steady online income.

One thing that's worked for me while building Mentiohunt is making it dead simple for people to get value fast
I'd probably share 3 to 5 of the strongest cards as images right in the post, then add one very clear next step if they want the full set. You could also ask which card hit hardest, since those replies usually tell you what to make more of

The part that'll carry this further than the $10: you built them for your own low moments first, then sold them. You're literally the customer, so none of it is market-researched filler, it's real. That authenticity is what people actually pay for, and it's the one thing a competitor can't copy. Congrats raz.

The jump from $0 to $10 is bigger than the jump from $10 to $10K. The first one proves a stranger will pay you, and that belief changes how you build forever. One tactical move while you're this small: you have exactly two customers, so message both and ask what made them buy. At this stage every buyer will talk to you, and what they say becomes your product page copy and your next channel.
