I analyzed listings on AcquireYet.com — here's what online businesses actually sell for in 2026

Been running AcquireYet.com for a while now — a marketplace where founders buy and sell websites, blogs, SaaS tools, apps, and ecommerce stores. We've crossed 2K+ entrepreneurs on the platform and $2M+ in business sales.

So I dug into our listings across categories. Here's what's actually happening in the micro-acquisition market right now:

Content blogs & affiliate sites are the most listed — but hardest to close fast

Content sites dominate our listings. Buyers love the passive income angle but they're picky. What kills deals? Thin traffic proof. If your GA4 isn't clean and your revenue isn't consistent for at least 6 months, expect a long wait or a low offer.

What closes fast: niche blogs with 12+ months of data, clear monetization (ads + affiliate), and low owner dependency.

SaaS tools are the hottest category for buyers right now

Even micro-SaaS — tools doing $200–$800/month MRR — are getting serious attention. Buyers like recurring revenue. They like not having to touch SEO every month. If you have a small SaaS you've abandoned, it might be worth more than you think.

Valuation reality check in 2026

Stop guessing. Here's roughly what we're seeing:

  • Content/blog sites → 25x–35x monthly profit

  • SaaS / apps → 35x–50x monthly MRR

  • Ecommerce stores → 20x–30x monthly profit

  • Domains alone → purely demand-driven, no formula

The gap between what sellers expect and what buyers will pay is usually 20–30%. Price it right from day one — overpriced listings go cold fast.

The $1K–$10K range is massively underserved

Most big brokers ignore anything under $50K. That's exactly why we built AcquireYet. There's a huge pool of first-time buyers who want to start small, learn the ropes, and grow. Micro-deals are real deals.

Average time to sell? Around 90 days — if listed properly

Listings with clear financials, traffic screenshots, monetization breakdown, and a brief "why I'm selling" close significantly faster. Buyers aren't just buying revenue — they're buying confidence.
