I built a minimalist, ad-free word counter in VS Code and just published it on Netlify. I’d love to get some honest feedback from you all! H

I was tired of word-counting sites cluttered with heavy ads, slow load times, and annoying pop-ups. So, I decided to fire up VS Code and build my own solution: wordcounter-english. It’s designed to be a clean, fast, and completely ad-free word and character counter. I’ve just published the first version on Netlify (I don’t even have a custom domain yet—I’m just using the default Netlify URL!).
