I kept struggling to record clean demo videos for my projects.
Everything felt clunky, was too expensive, or took too much setup.
So I built FrameCapture — a free macOS app that lets you record polished demo videos in seconds.

Recording clean demo videos is always such a hassle. Love that FrameCapture makes it fast and free. Definitely something every founder could use.
There is nothing more frustrating than getting the perfect frame only to realize the pause icon was still visible in the center. FrameCapture solves a very specific but very real 'micro-friction' point for creators. I love tools like this that do one thing extremely well. Nice work on the launch!
This is awesome! Love how simple and fast it makes demo recording. I'm curious, any tips on getting audio without extra gear? or is handled inside FrameCapture too?

This is brilliant timing — I was literally looking for a clean way to record demo videos for my app.
Most tools felt either too heavy or overkill for what I needed.
Haven’t tried FrameCapture yet, but I’ll give it a go this weekend and share feedback once I’ve tested it.
