I have acquired the first micro-product!

Hello, Indie Hackers community!
I'm happy to share with you the acquisition of the first micro-product!

I started this year with the ambitious goal of building 1 product per month. But I also want to acquire micro-products: so here we are!

How it went and what I learned?
This first micro-acquisition was very fast. I received a message from a friend of mine on January 2 where he reported an interesting site for sale.

The starting price was 1500 dollars, with 600 dollars in revenue.

We then began negotiations that led us to closure in 1 week.

Before closing, however, we made sure that everything was in line with our expectations, and therefore:

1. Product analysis;
2. Website analysis;
3. Check for any bugs;
4. Check revenue and acquisition channels.

The product is a group of elegant design assets for everyone.

Obviously, our plans now are to improve the store, improve the website, add more photos to products, and of course acquire more customers.

The goal is to resell the product at a multiple of 4-5 within the next 5 months.

What did I learn from this first micro-acquisition?

Surely that product analysis is the most important thing to do in such cases. There are many scams around, and it would be really unpleasant to buy a product and have different expectations from reality.
