I just got my first user for StressLess! Tiny win but feels big.

Hey IH fam,

Super excited to share this: I just got my very first user for my app, StressLess! 🎉

It’s a simple tool I built to help people track their daily stress and breathe better through coherence-based breathing exercises. Minimalist, no distractions, just a tiny habit that actually helps.

Seeing someone other than me actually download it and use it feels surreal. It's a small step, but a real confidence boost.

âś… What worked:

  • Posting in niche subreddits like /r/anxiety and /r/stress with an authentic, personal story

  • Sharing daily builds on TinyLunch + LinkedIn (no hard selling, just progress)

  • Being patient — first real user came after weeks of no traction

🔥 Why this matters:

This is validation that someone else feels the same pain I’m trying to solve. Now, time to focus on retention & feedback.

đź’¬ Would love your advice:

  • How did you go from 1 user to 10 (without paid ads)?

  • Any tips on getting early testimonials or case studies?

Thanks for the inspiration & support!
Every small win counts 🌿

Great progress. How do you post your product on reddit without getting flagged?

not that easy but you can alway post on r/sideproject without fear to be flagged

    Huge congrats 👏,

getting that first real user organically is a massive win! It means your idea is already resonating with someone out there, and that’s the best kind of validation

You nailed the fundamentals: showing up in the right communities, telling a genuine story, and being patient when nothing seemed to be moving. đź’Ş

That’s the unglamorous grind most people skip, and it’s exactly what builds real momentum 🔜
