I run a subreddit (r/SaaS) with 45,000 members. How can I make it better?

Add a flair - Show Off Saturday where people can post link of their product!

If I cant share something about my product, I dont join such subreddit because by the end of the day, we are indiehackers.

I have tried to promote https://fabform.io several times on reddit. The moderators in my opinion are too strict.

My advice would be to add a greater selection of flairs.

This will prompt people to make more specific posts that align with the community's desires and would allow members to filter the subreddit with much greater accuracy and efficiency.

Here's some suggestions although running a 'request for flair ideas' post in the community would be best:

SaaS Tools, Integrations, Customer Acquisition, Feedback Request, User Onboarding, Product Launch, News, Productivity Tips, Scaling Strategies, Case Study

I'm a member of your Subreddit, there are actually too many rules and restrictions on Reddit. I wish there was a place for more people to talk about their products and their marketing and thoughts. It's a perfect environment and I know how hard it is for you to develop a Subreddit.
Actively share stories of problems you've encountered so members will find themselves there and they'll be ready to do it again with your team.

The active members count is low. I think you should start sharing about it on indie communities mainly Twitter etc. So the more people join, the more active users we get to see and active posts.

Hi Daniel, I am currently offering my SaaS vispr.net as a Lifetime deal with the help of group admins on Facebook as affiliates. There are so many groups that get great traction but most of them are much smaller than yours. Are you also recommending deals as an affiliate on Reddit or is that not a thing on that channel? Or would you accept me posting my deal in your group with a post that sparks a discussion around it?

Courtland Allen is the founder of indiehackers.com. He didn't take the venture capital approach. He just wanted to make enough money to support what he was trying to do. Courtland was trying to build a community of indie hackers who would share their stories, help each other, and support one another.

Maybe start off on a topic you haven't been ready or feeling up to to talk about and that will totally have them engaged and emerged into the convo. Also it just makes a little change from what you might usually do:)
