I spent 5 minutes to get to #1 on IH front-page
Here's me pitching Momentum on IH frontpage:
I used to share long-form articles and questions on IH but didn't get much traction.
Yesterday I lazy-released a landing page to IH. I've simple shared a link to 3 groups here, it took me few minutes.
Originally I planned to write a long press release, but decided to start with something quick to see how it goes.
I've got few comments, replied back quickly and called it a day.
Today I woke up and, surprised, found my post on the IH front-page and 25+ people joined my waitlist!
So lesson here — don't overthink on the early stages. Try every opportunity to promote your product.

I'm trying to work out WHEN to get started on PH. I don't have a landing page yet and I read somewhere that you should join approx 30 days before you plan to launch. Any thoughts?

I don't know what are good rules for cross-posting but generally you need to avoid posting in too many groups.
Following conversation here you should try to limit yourself with 2 groups to avoid removal:
