Just launched my SaaS on Product Hunt. Where do I go from here?

Your site looks very professional. Just a thought, maybe reach out to Youtubers who do languages courses and negotiate a promo deal in their videos. People who learn a language might also be interested in your service.

Promotion is hard, but I think it's all in being creative and find an angle that might not be the most obvious at first.

Make a content plan and start posting about your niche on Twitter and Linkedin.

Go on forums like Quora and Reddit to give actionable advice to issues your customers are struggling with.

Reach out to companies using your competitors (e.g. Shopify stores using Weglot) and try to convince them why your product is better and how it can benefit them (save money, faster, more accurate,...)

Remember, getting clients is a consistent workflow of outbound and inbound marketing.

Did you consider implementing a SEO strategy? If done right and with a bit of luck, you could generate quite some traffic from search engines.

I think your best customers are freelance web developers and agencies who will use this on their clients site to make it Multilingual, especially shopify and webflow developers.

I suggest you go on to linkedin, connect with them, engage with their content for a week and send a DM, introducing Conveythis. Don't sell it, just Introduce.

Most people who would be interested they'll anyway signup for a free trial.

Make it a point to reach 30 of such people everyday & you'll be on a good spot.

You can also try getting a list of these type of agencies and sending cold emails, try sending 300/week and optimize accordingly. Use similar template as above.

Also start blogging with relevant keywords. One blog a week is good to start with.

One suggestion with your website design, hire a good graphic designer to create good product snap shots for your illustrations, the current stock illustrations don't really seem to add any value

First you should resize pics, then go with some automated marketing stuff (bots) to populate the niche targets with some "promo" content, connect with other startups to exchange ideas, grow your inner circle (most valued know-hows) on Li, etc. Build slowly, but with quality in mind. Good luck!

Congrats on the launch! Unfortunately I feel your pain haha. I was building and building for months trying to get to a good point (from my perspective) to launch.

Since launch, I've drastically slowed down on engineering and now spend much more time on marketing and sales. I was 100% engineering 0% marketing for about 3 months and now it's 5%/95%. So social media, email campaigns, etc.

Congrats on the launch! Next step is to keep the signups warm with some emails. People on PH do not immediately buy.
Next is to make sure that you can receive feedback efficiently from them. You can use a tool like mine for this.

Developer advice: Resize images to make them smaller. I visited your website and your images took a second to load. I have good WiFi, but people who don’t will see an empty site for 4-5 seconds.

Founder advice: Manually contact people to sell your service. I would recommend contacting Product Hunt featured products every day. If you can’t sell your product by personally contacting the founders, there’s no way you’re going to do it at scale.

This is the hardest part - marketing and getting customers, and for us builders, it's our least favorite task. I see you have Shopify as one of your use cases - can you start reaching out to Shopify shop owners to see if you can get just 1 of them to try your product? Once you have 1 customer, you can use that to reach out to others "my product is used by X" and so on

Reach out to your personal network. Also, in addition to engaging with the community on the social platforms, try engaging an influencer as well. Most influencers charge $ for guidance and then ultimately at some point they will tweet or share about your product which can lead to increased traffic.

In the same boat, I've decided to wait on launching on Product Hunt for about six months to try to build an audience that can help upvote the app on PH.

I'm in the same boat. I have no idea where and how to promote my app. Most subreddits don't allow advertising and those hub sites let you wait a month or forever.

How do you get past the initial part of acquiring users to gather feedback etc.?

Marketing is difficult but you have to do it. Try write some articles or videos about your product and post then on social media.

How is the response there?
