Landing page content strategy

The biggest challenge for me right now is to write the landing page content.
We are updating content and I have been deep into copywriting. Because I want to learn it myself. Somehow I seem to be stuck in a perfection loop and can't finish my landing pages. Every time something new comes into my mind and feels like, I'm overdoing it.

Can you guys help?
Can you share any resources for landing page content.

Your landing pages play a vital role in determining whether or not visitors convert into customers. If they don't convert, then your entire marketing strategy has failed. Your landing page should have a clear call to action (CTA) that clearly states why someone should click through to your site, and also include information that answers their questions without having to ask them directly.

When designing your landing pages, you want to get straight to the point. The goal should always be to convert traffic into leads, and ultimately sales. Landing pages are often the only piece of copy that gets read before a visitor takes action. Therefore, you have to write compelling copy that draws attention to the CTA and creates interest.

To create interesting and well written landing pages, start with a content audit. This will help you determine where you stand in terms of current conversions and identify opportunities to improve. Once you've identified areas for improvement, go back to the drawing board and create better content. This will increase your conversion rate and ensure that your landing pages are optimized for success.

Landing pages play a vital role in SEO. They consist of several sections such as title, meta tags, keywords, image alt text, description, etc. The objective of these elements is to attract visitors and convert them into leads.

When creating landing pages, it is important to consider various elements, including:

    1. Title - This is the main heading of your landing page. Make sure it attracts attention and contains high-quality keywords.

    2. Meta Description - Use it to describe your page briefly.

    1. What is the purpose of the page?
The first step when writing content for a webpage is to determine what the purpose of the page is. Is it to inform people about your business, products, services, etc.? Or is it to sell something? If you’re selling something, then you need to make sure that your content is written in a way that makes people want to buy.
    2. Who is the target audience?
Who is going to read your content? You should always think about who is going to read your page before you start writing. Are they looking for information about your company? Do they have questions about your products or services? Will they be interested in buying your product or service? Once you know who your target audience is, you can begin to create content that will appeal to them.
    3. How much time do you have to write the content?
If you don’t have enough time to write the content yourself, hire someone else to help you out. Hiring a freelance writer can save you a lot of time and money. However, if you do decide to go this route, make sure that you find a good writer who knows how to write SEO-friendly content.
    4. What keywords are relevant to your business?
You should use keywords throughout your content. Make sure that you use these keywords at least twice per page. Also, try not to repeat the same keyword over and over again. Doing so may cause search engines to penalize your site and lower your rankings.
    5. Does your content meet the expectations of your readers?
Your content should answer the questions that your readers have. If your content doesn’t address their concerns, then it won’t get shared or liked.
    6. Does your content provide value?
Make sure that your content provides value to your readers. If it doesn’t, then they will likely ignore it.
    7. Does your content inspire action?
People love to share things that inspire them. So, if your content inspires others to take action, then it will probably get shared.

    Hey,

Obviously your goal is to improve your conversion rates, get more sales etc.

I know you're looking for landing page tactics but I'd like to share a concept that in both the short and long term will help you out a lot more - and that's about what exactly you are selling.

Rather than repost content I'll just share a post I wrote about this earlier on here - https://www.indiehackers.com/post/the-weird-reason-why-you-struggle-to-get-paying-customers-b7be4a36b3

    Hope that helps

    Chris

I just take ideas from big companies' landing pages. There was this great thread I wanted to share with you on landing pages by @julian on twitter... but I checked and it was deleted :(

You don't need to finish it lo launch. You can always update the landing page, especially if it's just the copy.
