I am launching my first ever product MVP. I wanted to solve my own problem and build a product around it. Here's the problem statement https://www.indiehackers.com/post/how-do-you-cross-post-your-blog-b6587474ff.
In one word, I would say it's an application to cross-post blogs for technical bloggers.
This is an MVP of the product. I wanted to validate this idea and build a product based on the feedback from technical writers/ business writers.
Let me know your honest feedback. it will help me validate and understand what to build on top of it.
Congrats! You've done very well by solving a real problem that people face. Lots of people don't make it that far. Here are some of my thoughts about your landing page:
This is an awesome start for an mvp! I think you should totally keep iterating. Have you started talking to potential users yet?
Hey @johncb, Thank you so much for your valuable comment. I really appreciate that. I am yet to talk to potential customers. this is something that I have been facing in my blogging journey. so, I wanted to solve it. I will improve it based on your feedback. happy to connect with you to discuss more about it.
yeah absolutely, feel free to send me an email if you'd like, my email is noted in my profile. Super exciting to see what you do next.
Hello, I just checked out your website. After watching your video I understood what your product and I understand its value proposition does but normally I wouldn't be patient enough to watch through a video. You should add some text description that clearly explains the features of your product, e.g. "syndicate posts from your personal blog to Twitter, dev.to, Medium and LinkedIn". Of course, I could go and use something like IFTTT or Zapier to do what your product does, so you have to compete on the user experience and simplicity as a tool that does one thing well.
Hi Ganesh! Nice problem to solve with a quick MVP, good work!! Maybe in a few months I could be a user.
One comment about the landing page... It's just wrong on mobile, everything out of place. I highly recommend you to solve that as a priority, because most of the traffic is from phones.
Hey, Thanks for the feedback. i will fix it asap
Hi Ganesh,
Congrats on making your MVP.
I read the text and watched the video and I am still not sure what this product does.
Totally agree with the other comment that narration is needed to explain, also you might be able to skip some of the details of connecting and focus on value.
I’m guessing the value is that it saves time? But I don’t see that anywhere.
Is there competition? Does this give something above and beyond the competition?
Again great job and wish you all the best!
Thank you for the valuable feedback. i will fix it.
