Hey IH.
It would be awesome if you can take a look at the landing page I've just built. http://start.gitcom.org/
Any feedback is much appreciated!
Good job!
May be you should use more images.
Thanks!
Yeah, I think there is a lot of text. I would side with more graphics, videos, illustrations. Keep it short and sweet. Really hit your value props early and hard.
That's what I tried to do in my new landing page concept. I would love some feedback also :)

Hey, thanks for feedback, @storycreator!
I'm thinking about simplifying the landing page - reducing the amount of text or replacing with images etc. And to compensate I would focus on the more self-explanatory product so people could start using it easily and learn along the way.
you know that GitHub just beta-launched their sponsoring feature?
Yeah, I know. I've heard about it while developing this product.
There are also patreon, opencollective etc.
But the key difference here that I'm not planning to focus on donations. I want to offer open source developers a solution to SELL their product, there a few monetization strategies here such as open core model (proprietary features on top of open source product) and so on
I like the aesthetics of the site, well done. The only aspect I didn't understand was the incentive to the users. If I am in your target audience, why would I sign up? You say prizes, but that could be a sticker or action figure. I'm interested in what that would be!
Thanks, @garretthenrym!
By prizes (or rewards) I mean anyone who will sign up right now will receive 50$ worth of bonus points and 1000 tokens.
But the problem is right now I'm focused on developers since I need more content on the platform so those bonus points and tokens will worth something.
But overall I think the main incentive for users to sign up will be those bonus points and rewards system.
After I'll find enough developers who will be willing to sign up and add their projects I will focus on users
That all makes sense, I still wonder what I can do with 1000 tokens, maybe I'm missing something.
I do agree with your approach to find devs first though. Good luck!
Those tokens can be used as a currency in the platform and they are tradeable right now on Waves decentralized exchange and they will have more value later when there will be some content and money flow in the platform.
Thank you for your feedback, appreciate it!
The flow looks good ! the only thing you could consider adding are testimonials.
Thank you! I was thinking about it before, but I'll definitely add this section
