Making customer follow ups sticky and simple

I built DueCRM because I noticed how easily sales opportunities fall through the cracks when your CRM is too complicated. Most tools out there force you to fill out dozens of useless fields and drown you in messy spreadsheets, which actually takes time away from talking to people.

I wanted to build something that centers around one single question, which is who do I need to follow up with today. DueCRM exists to give solo founders and mobile sales reps a super focused dashboard, a clean morning digest, and clever features like voice notes so they can log calls in seconds. It is designed to help teams stay on top of their deals without the usual enterprise bloat.

The “who do I follow up with today” focus is the part that usually gets buried under CRM fields — nice that you made it the whole product. Curious how the morning digest + voice-note logging interacts after a week: do people mostly clear the queue from the digest, or do they still open the app mid-day when a call ends? Also wondering whether “care scores” stay honest once the novelty of logging wears off.

These are the behavioral questions I kept thinking about while building this. From what I see, the morning digest works as a great mental trigger for the day, but the app is still heavily used mid-day. Sales reps finish a call on the go and want to log it immediately before they forget. Since recording a voice note takes literally five seconds, it bypasses that midday friction. As for keeping care scores honest once the novelty wears off, that is definitely the hardest part. My thesis here is simple, which is reducing data entry to near zero. In big CRMs, people stop updating because filling forms feels like extra work. In DueCRM, you just flip a status or talk to the app. If the friction is nonexistent, staying honest becomes the easiest path. We are only a week in, so I am watching the retention data closely to see if this theory holds up.

The “who do I follow up with today” focus is clear. Are users actually following up on more opportunities or recovering deals they would previously have let slip?

Yes, they are. The main reason deals slip away is not a lack of interest, it is just friction and forgetfulness. With our morning digest and today queue, users do not have to think about who to contact next. It removes the mental friction of sales. We are still in the early stages, but the feedback from small teams so far is that they feel much more honest with their care scores because the app makes logging a quick voice note after a call so effortless.

That’s a stronger signal than just liking the workflow. I’d be interested in digging into whether that behavior is actually recovering opportunities. If you’re open to it, what’s the best email to reach you on?

I am definitely open to it. I would love to share more about the data and real use cases we are seeing. Since I do not open my direct email publicly, the best way to reach me is through our official contact form at duecrm.cc/contact. If you already have an account, you can also open a support ticket inside the app. Drop me a line there and I will get right back to you.

Thanks! I’ve just sent it over.

Looking forward to hearing your thoughts whenever you have a chance.
