Most prototyping isn't greenfield

“Lovable and Bolt – every time you open them, it's a blank page. When you open Else, you look at your website.”

A CPO at a B2B SaaS company told me this in April.

Greenfield-first tools were built for someone with no product yet. They cannot imitate yours – they were never given access to it.

When a prototype lives in a sandbox, it has to be rebuilt to ship. When it lives on the repo, it ships as a PR.
