New minimalist landing page. Is it clear concise and to the point? What do you think?

Hey folks,

we collected a lot of useful feedback previously and implemented it on our landing page. This time we have created a minimalist landing page. We would love to know your feedback again.

What do you think about it?
How can Moneto help your business?

Thanks,

    Loving the image!

I would divide the text under more headlines. Most people scan the page and don't read big blocks of texts.

Harry Dry made an awesome post about this but I cant find it.

I agree with Skip. Love the image, and nice clear design on the whole. I'd just break up the text blocks a touch. Perhaps split the before / after into something more visual.

I think @Chipotle is referring to point 6 in this article. Hopefully it helps ;)

That's exactly what I meant. Thanks Harry!

Hi David. I don't think you need more headings for scanning, you are on the right track for sure. It's plenty scannable.

The before/after copy works very well. So many apps promise increases and benefits at the outset, but not your page: it focuses on the struggle being felt.

Aside: I don't know if this helpful to you or others, but this piece I wrote has a few other copywriting methods (the Before/After you used is mentioned and a few more too) to tell your visitors that there's a better way:
    https://sharpen.page/jtbd/copywriting/four-ways-to-say-theres-a-better-way/

Getting to the bottom of the page, I'm left asking myself: how do they do this? How do they get all that information in a single place instead of having them in different spreadsheets and other places?

Not having an answer to this makes me hesitate, and I don't think it's the right time to propose signing up. It might be free to try, but it doesn't appear free if the hidden "cost" of having to do a ton of manual conversion work isn't somehow explained to me (which is what I suspect I'll have to do to switch to this product, away from my very comfortable spreadsheets.)

So where you propose signing up, I'd consider showing me how it works so you can perhaps quell that anxiety about the hidden switching/setup/change of habits costs. At this point, it's fine that the page is long, because if I scrolled to here, I'm interested, I've got the struggle, I know you heard my cry for help.

I'd educate the user if need be. You're telling me there's a better way -- I want to know the better way you propose. Show it to me. Important note: this isn't about showing features, it's about showing he steps I need to go through to change from my imperfect, cobbled-together, disparate process to the process that moneto proposes instead.

Hi @pascallaliberte, thanks a lot. Your feedback is awesome.

I have read your article and it explains similar advice like StoryBrand book. I totally agree with it. We just launched and we are validating our idea through people. I think we are heading to the right landing page, step-by-step. We are going to iterate landing page this week and share progress again :)

      Thanks a lot!
      Dave

        Hi David,

I wrote up more in this article on what I'd change, if that's helpful: https://sharpen.page/jtbd/optimize/when-your-software-proposes-different-process/

I state that the process change might be your biggest "cost", more so than the price of the product, I go over the "anxieties" force felt at that point in the page, and conclude with suggestions on what to add in that spot.

Let me know when you've got changes up. Good luck!

Take my feedback with a grain of salt, but on mobile it doesn't look to minimalist. The graphic is basically unreadable which leaves blocks of texts. Even your headline might be communicated more directly, like "Your Financials Visualized"

    I like the colors though!

Hi @dayadam, thanks a lot. We will update the mobile version.

I like the annotations on your product image. I made a similar landing page that only has a short description, video, and CTA buttons and asked for feedback on https://www.indiehackers.com/post/minimalist-landing-page-i-removed-most-sections-is-it-too-much-e40e931ad6. I highly recommend to read some of the comments as they apply to you as well.

All in all, I decided to go with a long landing page and I'm in process of redesigning right now.

Hi @hosshams, we had a long landing page before, but people were confused. So we want to start with this landing page and we will create a new one with customers in the future.

Hi @Monk85, thanks a lot. It's not a light bookkeeping software. It shows all the necessary information about your company like cash flow, dues, projects and scenarios (coming soon). We will also work on Xero integration. Will you have a couple minutes to chat? I would love to ask couple of questions. Thanks a lot, Dave.
