Hey y'all -
If the best way to grow subscribers to your newsletter is to get promoted in another newsletter, why not find other people looking to grow their newsletters with a similar audience and cross-promote each other?
(Didn't see a topic exactly like this in the last couple weeks, so hopefully I'm not repeating anything 🙈)
My suggestion: Share the info below for your newsletter and comment / reach out to anyone who has a comparable size/audience.
Here's a copy/pastable template:
Cheers!

Hey all, great idea!
In case anyone wants to do cross promotion more regularly, without the hard work of finding the match yourself, at SparkLoop we made a free tool to match you with 'good fit' newsletters automatically on a regular basis!
You can sign up here and start getting matches for free!
Already signed up like a week ago. When are you launching that feature?
Awesome!
We send matches on the first Friday of each month. So in about two weeks will be the next one :)
This is such a great idea. Thanks for suggesting Monica!

Hi there! Currently I do more of connecting sponsors with newsletters though. But still working out the details.
Cross promote is a strong strategy too let's see how this works out.

Hey, Grit List site looks awesome! How are you hosting it?? I'm currently using Substack.
Thanks! Yup, hosting it on AWS using Ghost. I wrote a full tutorial on how I set it up on elijahmurray.com if you're interested! A bit of a pain, but in my opinion worth it to own the system.
